Tercon Ltd joins CECA
John Hunter, Managing Director, has recently announced that Tercon Ltd has joined the Civil Engineering Contractors Associateion (South West).
CECA is the representative body for companies engaged in delivering, upgrading and maintaining the UK's infrastructure.
With over 300 members, CECA representsfirms carrying out 70-80% ofall UK civil engineering activity in the key sectors of transport, energy, communications, waste and water.
Joining this prestigious organisation is seen as a main element of the company's expansion plan for its civil engineering and groundworks division in the Bristol and surrounding area.

Tercon Ltd renews membership with Achilles UVDB
Tercon Ltd is pleased to annouce that it has renewed its Achilles UVDB registration for a further 12 months.
Achilles UVDB is a registration specifically for contractors working in the utilities sector and is a requirement for Tercon Ltd to work for some of the company's existing clients.
The company's registration remains valid until the end of November 2018.

During May, Tercon Ltd re-applied and retained its rated supplier status on the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) Sustainability Index following the company's applications in 2015 and 2016.

Tercon Ltd to raise more funds for the Jessie May charity
Tercon Ltd is very pleased to announce its continued involvement in supporting the Jessie May Children’s Hospice at Home charityover the next twelve months.
Last year the company raised £2,477.79 for the charity and will continue its fundraising events during the year in order to achieve its new target figure
Jessica May died at home aged 4½ months surrounded by her family and supported by a team of nurses and her parents created the charity to ensure that every child who is not expected to reach adulthood receives nursing care within the home.
The Bristol based charity provides palliative, end of life and bereavement care for terminally ill children and although the Trust is almost entirely reliant upon voluntary funding, the care is provided free of charge. Since 1996, the charity has supported over 275 children and their families in the Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset areas.

Tercon Ltd's year long charity fund raising nearly doubles target
During June 20124 Tercon Ltd announced that the company was supporting the Penny Brohn Cancer Care charity for twelve months and had set a fund raising target of £1,500. Thanks to the efforts of staff, family, friends, sponsorship and work related donations, from the 1st July 2014 until the 30th June 2015, the sum of £2,942.69 has been raised.The money was raised by various means including sweepstakes, a cycle run, collections, a hamper draw, a quiz night, an easter egg raffle, bake a cake day and fund raising for the year finished at the Bristol 10K run event. A huge thanks to all those who gave up their time to take part, to all those who contributed to the overall fund and to Pina Hunter who co-ordinate all the events throughout the year.
